TO ENTER SERVICE MODE

Use one of the following methods.

• With user remote control, enter digits [0=>6=>2=>5=>9=>6], directly followed by "M" {Menu} button.
• Temporarly short circuit the jumper at pin number [4] of (9257-7200) on the mono-carrier, and power CA.  Press the Power button and remove short-circuit after start-up.

Entering SDRAM short circuit jumper in 9257 and pin [4] of 7200, will disable protection (+8V).  So do this only for a short period of time.  When performing this task the service  technician must know exactly what he is doing, becuse there is a chance to damage the circuit.  

After entering SDRAM, a screen with "S" at top right corner of the screen. 

[To exit from service mode:  Place the set to 'Standby' by pressing the power button on the remote control.  (By removing the power cord from the AC power socket, the machine SDRAM back in when power is re-applied).  The buffer error will not be cleaned
