THIN VERTICAL LINE, OR ONE BLOCK IS NOT LIGHTING

Vertical line displays either at the left plane of the screen, or a vertical block of no picture is displaying:

Possibilities.

  • PDP pane IC driver {NG} or [D] board or [C] board.
  • Number of blocks not lighting.  Suspected boards are as above.
NO PICTURE, PICTURE NOISE, FULL HORIZONTAL LINE ETC:
  • Trouble at upper half SU board.  [SC or D board defect].
  • Trouble at lower half SD board. [SC or D baord defect]
HORIZONTAL LINE [LOWER SIDE]
SD board 
HORIZONTAL LINE [UPPER SIDE] [d BOARD FAULT].
HORIZONTAL LINE BOTH UPPER AND LOWER AREA [SS BOARD FAULT]
PICTURE TROUBLE TO EITHER RIGHT OR LEFT HALF
Trouble at right side => D or C1 board [panel defect].
Trouble at left half => D or C2 board [panel defect
at
