FIRMWARE UPDATE PROCEDURE
Update Firmware tools
- PC(Notebook)
- Transmission line as Figure.
- Software (MtkTool.exe , COMPR.DLL, MTKDLL.DLL)
CABLE SWITCH ON 'D' SIDE
- Insert the power cord and RS232 cable.
- Insert RS232 cable in Mouse socket or RS232socket and other side insert to service socket on TV
- There are some files should be in directory.(MtkTool.exe , COMPR.DLL, MTKDLL.DLL)
- Execute MtkTool.exe.
- Make sure IC model is MT8205, serial connection is correct(default is COM1) and baud rate is 115200.
- Click the Browse of “Load Bin file option” to choose the correct firmware.
- Click the bottomof Upgrade, Systemwill start upgrade firmware, when it fished the operation, list form has to show the “Finished” as blow arrow.
- Pull out the RS232 cable and AC cord.
