PHILIPS BDP3000 SMPS board circuit diagram - changing the DVD region code

You can change the DVD region code only, by the following method.  Cannot change the region code for Blu-ray disc.  It can be changed only by updating the firmware.

To read out the software versions to confirm upgrading

Power on the set and open the tray door.
Press <Home> button on the remote control.

Select <Setting>, and then press <OK>

Select <Advanced Setup>, press right cursor to choose <Version Info.>, then press <OK>, the software version and other information will display on the TV screen as below.

MAC:XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX

[The set must not be power off during upgrading; otherwise the Main board will be damaged entirely]

DVD Region code change

> Power on the set and keep no disc.

> In the Home menu, press <6> <6> <6> <6> button.

> Input below new region number by the remote control, then it will change after restart the player.

[Remark: BD disc region code change only by upgrade software]
