A10 appears on display
You’ve selected the “All in one” cycle. It’s not an error code.
What may look like 'A10' in the display is in fact AIO which means All In One cycle has been selected. If this is not the chosen program then simply switch the control to another program selection.
Burning smell
Clean the condenser and filters.
A build up of lint and fluff in your dryer can lead to a burning smell. Check the filter found in the door recess and remove any fluff build up, also remove the lower cover to reveal the condenser. Remove the condenser by turning the clips and pulling it out. Wash out all of the fluff build up by flushing water through the slots in the condenser with a hose or tap or simply plunge into a bucket of water until all of the fluff has been washed out. Re fit everything and try the dryer again, the smell may take a few minutes to clear. Watch our helpful video for more information.
Cycle won’t start.
Empty the water tank.
Check that the water tank found in the door is not full. Once it becomes full the dryer will stop working until the water is emptied away. Open the door and lift the tank off, taking acre as it may be heavy. Pour the water down your sink or drain.
Is the machine installed in a cold place?
Your tumble dryer has been designed to be used in a habitable part of your home. During the winter, cold temperatures are detected by sensors inside the appliance which causes it to shut down. This may occur in colder parts of your home such as a garage or out building during a 'cold snap' when we experience temperatures bellow zero. In these conditions the machine will turn on but not start up and the lights may flash. Simply warm up the surroundings or alternatively open the door, remove the filter and using a hair dryer blow warm air into the machine through the filter slot. Do this for a few minutes and then try the dryer again... it should now start to work. This is not a fault with your dryer it is simply due to the location of your machine during extremely cold weather. We recommend you re-locate the product to a warmer environment using a hair dryer to warm up the surrounding temperature

check that they are suitable for tumble drying.
Not all garments can be tumble dried. look at the care label found on the garment and check it shows the tumble dry symbol.
Garments not suitable for tumble drying may become damaged if dried in a tumble dryer.
Check the heat setting of the cycle.
Some garments are made from delicate fabrics that require a low heat setting when using a tumble dryer. Look at the care label to discover the correct heat setting or program to choose for drying your clothes.
Garments suitable for low temperatures should be dried on delicate - synthetic cycles or select the low heat option. Damage may occur to your clothes if you dry them on the wrong heat setting.
Does not switch off.
Anti-crease function h as operated.
If you have selected one of the auto sense programs the machine will automatically end the drying cycle when the clothes are dry. To prevent them from creasing, the drum will occasionally turn until you open the door or switch the machine off.
This is may look like the machine is running continuously but is a very energy efficient way of reducing creases in the garments and is not a fault with the machine.

NOTE, This accessory may only be fitted to machines with the water tank fitted in the door.
Dryer switches off after a few minutes of use.
Check the size of the load.
If you are drying a very small load or perhaps one item on its own, it is better to use the' time' dry program. The auto sense cycles have been designed to offer an efficient drying solution for your larger loads and the machine may switch off after a few minutes if a light load or just one thing is in the drum on an auto sense programme.
Error code 7 or 11 in the display
Check the filter and condenser for blockages.
Error codes 7 or 9
Clean the filter.
Should E7 or E9 appear in your display, switch the machine off and remove the filter found in the door as shown, and clean away any fluff or debris caught in the filter.
Switch the machine back on and try again, should the fault persist please contact us for further advice.
Error E3
Empty the water tank.
Check the water container is empty. This may be in the door or behind the lower cover depending on your model.
Filter warning lights up.
Clean out the filter and condenser.
No electrical power.
Check there is electricity at the socket.
If your machine is not powering up then you could try plugging another appliance into the socket. If this appliance also appears to have no power, there is possibly a problem with the supply at that socket. Check the socket is switched on and that there is not an isolator switch somewhere in your home which may be switched off or tripped out. If there is an isolator or fuse box, check it is also switched on. Perhaps the main fuse or trip in your distribution box has blown? so check that out. If the problem persists you may need a competent electrician to restore the supply. Alternatively try the product in different socket.[Check the fuse in the plug.]
Not drying the clothes.
Clean the filter and condenser.
Check the filter is clean.
Sensor dry cycles are not suitable for the drying 1 item.

Not heating up.
Check the filter is clean.
There is a fluff filter situated in the door entrance of your dryer. For best results clean this before you start using your dryer. If it becomes blocked with fluff the machine will not heat up. Open the door and lift the filter out. Gently pull the sides to open it out and scrape out the fluff build up.
Rumbling noise.
Machine has a “running in” period.
Tumble dryers have pulleys and wheels inside the machine that make it work. Tumble dryers may be noisier than usual when first switched on. Sometimes when the product is brand new or not been used for a while a 'rumbling' sound may be heard for the first few minutes of operation. This is normal as the wheels self lubricate but if it continues for more than 5 minutes ; contact the nearest dervice center.
Steaming up the room.
Some ventilation is needed in the room.
The condenser dryer needs a good supply of cool air to work properly and effectively. If it is installed in a confined space such as a small room or cupboard the walls may appear damp and moisture will appear on any windows. For best results use the machine in a well ventilated room.
Taking longer time than usual to dry.
Time adjust feature not working.
This option only works with certail programmes.
note that the Time adjustment feature can only be used on the following cycles:
Whites, Synthetics, Anti Allergy, XXL Load.
