TO ENTER SERVICE MODE

• Turn the Set On
• Simultaneously, Press and “Hold” the Menu Key on the Side Key pad and Press and “Hold” the Menu Key on the Remote approximately 5 seconds.
• If Customer’s Menu appears, continue to hold until it disappears.
• The Service Menu appears

Note: If a Password is required to enter the Service Menu. Enter; “0000”

USB SOFTWARE UPDATE

USB DOWNLOAD

• Create an LG_DTV folder on the USB Flash Drive.
• Copy new software (xxx.epk) to "LG_DTV" folder. Make sure to have correct software file.
• With TV turned on, insert USB flash drive.
• You can see the message “TV Software Upgrade” (See figures)
• Cursor left and highlight "START" Button and push “Enter” button using the remote control.
• You can see the download progress Bar.
• Do not unplug until unit has automatically restarted.
• When download is completed, you will see “COMPLETE”.
• Your TV will be restarted automatically.

CAUTION:

Do not remove AC power or the USB Flash Drive.

Do not turn off Power, during the upgrade process.

DIRECT TV UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

PROGRAMMING
  The DIRECTV Universal Remote Control is designed to give you access to features and functions found on your original remote control. To use it with your brand of DIRECTV Receiver, you will need to program the remote control by performing the following steps.

1. Locate the DIRECTV Receiver's brand and model number.
2. Locate the 5-digit code for your DIRECTV Receiver.
3. Power on the DIRECTV Receiver.
4. Move the slide switch to DIRECTV icon.
5. Press and hold in the MUTE and SELECT keys until the green light under the DIRECTV icon flashes twice and then release both keys.
6. Using the number keys enter the 5-digit code. If performed correctly the green light under the DIRECTV icon will flash twice.
7. Aim the remote at your DIRECTV Receiver and press that the power key once. The DIRECTV Receiver should turn off. If it does not turn off, repeat steps 3 and 4, trying each code for your brand until you find the correct code.
