General advice about LCD LED TV repair
Possible problems

- PHILIPS 43PUS6401 TV does not turn on. There is no indication of any functionality. No LEDs on the front panel are not blinking or on, the TV does not respond.

In cases like this, the problem should start with the power supply circuits 715G7350-P01-000-002S. It is impossible to check the LED strips for breakage without disassembling the panel with a multimeter or a tester. For this purpose, you need to open all the series-connected PN-junctions and will need a voltage of about tens of volts, and ideally - a current source. Having disassembled the panel, it is necessary to check each LED separately. Chinese multimeters tend to light up a single 3 volt LED slightly in the forward direction. In the case of twin 6 volt LEDs, the PN junction of its safety regulator may be a good indicator. In faulty LEDs, the regulator will either be broken or broken in short circuit.

General information.


To reduce the backlight current in TVs with the 715G7350-P01-000-002S power supply, the board has two assemblies of resistors (current sensors) for the two channels, R8624, R8625, R8626, R8627 and R8631, R8632, R8633, R8634. You can remove one or two resistors in each assembly for both channels equally.

Do not allow any impacts on the glass and pressure on the surface of the screen to avoid damage to the LED-panel!
Also it is not safe to get liquid on the screen. Sometimes one drop is enough if it drips down the glass onto the cables and the TV becomes unrepairable.
