REPAIRING AND NOT THROWING AWAY

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

In Brief: On this site you will find pictures and technical information about Service Modes, Circuit Diagrams, Firmware Update procedure, Disassemble procedure, Universal remote control set-up codes, Troubleshooting and more....

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.

These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.

While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

Happy repairing!
Today, the West is headed for the abyss. For the ultimate fate of our disposable society is for that society itself to be disposed of. And this will happen sooner, rather than later.

29PT752A/78R

Inoperative
C-2618 (222 x 2KV) and FET-7680  (P16NE06). When replacing c2618, by connecting the TV, the image appeared when the hung like tube weak. Replace C-2618-7680 and FET. Note The FET is on the card remediation E61 east-west.

29PT4631
Normal image, sound normal, dark bar with four fingers on the left side of the screen from top to bottom and characters pulled left
The horizontal driver circuit of these devices is accomplished by a pair of transistors 7461 (BC337-25) and 7463 (BC325-25) in complementary symmetry. Replace these two transistors even though they are measuring as good as they always present themselves with lack of gain. Note the "dash" 25 which corresponds to Hfe transistors. As a precaution also replace the C2405 capacitor between collector and emitter of NPN 7461 (BC337-25).The capacitor C2455 is also critical due to the capacitive reactance at high frequency, so replace it. Also check the polarizations of FET 7400.

29PT4631/78
TV works normal, direpente the image fades and the screen goes black.
Switched the two BC 7461 (337) and 7462 (327) and two capacitors 2405 (220mf 25v) 2455 (47mf 25v) switch without testing.

VERTICAL CLOSED, JUST A STRIPE ON TOP OF THE SCREEN
DIODE BYW36, The RESISTOR, 68RX2W And FLYBACK BSC29-3807F.
The BYW36 MUST REPLACE THE TWO AND IF YOU OBSERVE THE FLYBACK LEAK HIGH VOLTAGE

There is high voltage. Tensions of the normal source, waveform oscillator normal horizontal; cuts starting immediately.

7461 (BC337-25) with high resistance between base and emitter.
20PT3331
Off after approximately 5 minutes

Replace (Q-7643) BC-546 can be used BC-547
20PT3336
With characters but no picture and brightness.
