General repair guidelines for TV LCD LED
In cases where the LG 26LE3300 TV does not turn on, does not respond to the remote control and buttons, no indicators on the front panel are lit or blinking, and there are no sounds and no signs of operability when turning on, the Adapter 24V 3A power supply module is most likely faulty or missing standby power. When repairing the power supply, it is advisable to start the diagnostics by checking the mains fuse and the electrolytic capacitors of the filters of the converter secondary rectifiers. In the event of a fuse breaking, the reason should be sought in the power semiconductor elements of the pulse converter of the main power supply. First of all, it is necessary to check the diodes of the rectifier bridge of the mains voltage and the power key (s) of the converter. The complete inoperability of the power supply unit can be caused by a short circuit in the power elements in the primary circuit, followed by an open fuse, or a short circuit in the loads.
It should be borne in mind that in the practice of repair it is extremely rare that key transistors in switching power supplies (SMPS) fail for no reason that should be sought by checking other components, for example, a breakdown of the key can provoke faulty elements of the damper circuits, or dried electrolytic capacitors or dangling primary resistors BP circuits involved in the stabilization process. In this case, all semiconductor elements of the strapping of the PWM controller chip are subject to verification, which it is desirable to verify by replacement.
If the LG 26LE3300 does not have an image, but there is sound, there may be a malfunction of the backlight LEDs of the LC260EXN (SC) (A1) panel or their power converter - LED driver.
In case of breaks in the LED circuit, a complete disassembly of the panel is required, the LEDs are checked for an open circuit, as well as the reliability of the connections in the connectors and rations of the terminals.
To check the health in the LED circuit, it is better to use a current source with a maximum voltage of 200V. We do not recommend using any voltage sources for this purpose. You can check each LED individually with a simple Chinese multimeter (powered by 9 volts) in the P-N-junction test mode. If you connect the red probe of the multimeter to the anode of the LED, and the black to its cathode, then the 3-volt LED will light up slightly, and in the opposite direction you can detect the transition of the emergency zener diode. A zener diode PN junction indirectly indicates a LED-a
The EAX61524502 (0) motherboard must be checked if there is no reaction to the remote control and function buttons, the standby indicator blinks or lights up continuously. In such cases, if the converters or power regulators of the microcircuit are working, a software update may be necessary.
Board repair and replacement of CPU chips: LGE107D; DRAM: H5TQ1G63BFR; NAND Flash: HY27UF082G2B; SPI Flash: MX25L8005M2I; EEPROM: CAT24WC08W; SOUND: EAN60969601; are made in the presence of the necessary equipment, and the corresponding element base. Faults associated with the application of BGA processor soldering technologies can be localized by the heating method.
The TDTJ-S001D tuner malfunction is established after checking the software and all supply voltages at its terminals. The data exchange of the tuner with the processor via the I2C bus can be controlled by an oscilloscope.
Attention to the owners! Attempts to repair the LG 26LE3300 TV independently are not recommended by the manufacturer and can lead to serious negative consequences!

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.
Happy repairing!
