General recommendations for repairing TV LCD
TV PHILIPS 15PF4110, like other electronic devices, it is advisable to start repairing from inspection of external and internal elements. Visible damage to elements can sometimes suggest directions for troubleshooting even before the necessary measurements are taken. Elements with visible damage, for example, capacitors swelled up after boiling the electrolyte, charred resistors in certain nodes of the circuit, as well as ring cracks in solders will help the master to guess the causes and possible consequences of the malfunction.
If the BL4L50P2 20011 TCI-A10S D power supply module fails, the external manifestations may be different, for example, the PHILIPS 15PF4110 does not turn on at all and there is no indication of the indicator lights on the front panel. When diagnosing and repairing the power supply, first of all, replace the swollen capacitors of the filter of the secondary rectifiers and check the fuse and, if it is broken, it is necessary to identify the cause. Often in such cases, an avalanche (thermal) breakdown is detected in the power semiconductor elements of the module - rectifier diodes or power switch P8NM60FP P16NF.
In most cases, a breakdown of the N-Fet converter key does not occur for no reason and you should look for other faulty circuit elements that could provoke a defect. This can be dried electrolytic capacitors in the primary circuit, and faulty damper elements, as well as dangling resistors or punched semiconductor elements in the stabilization circuits. Possible defective PWM TEA1533AT (14) from the manufacturer.
It is somewhat more difficult to find faults in the converter of the power module with an active KKM (power factor corrector).
If the PHILIPS 15PF4110 has no image, but there is sound, there is a possibility of a malfunction of the backlight or power converter. You should also make sure that the electrolytic capacitors of the secondary rectifiers of the common power supply are working.
The operation of the power circuits of the inverter and the backlight in the normal mode are controlled by special protection, which is organized for fire safety, for example, to disconnect during short circuits or breaks in high-voltage connections or when the lamps are depressurized. This protection makes it difficult to diagnose and repair the inverter.
In these cases, special care must be taken in view of the risk of failure of the power elements. After completing all repair work, it is imperative to restore the protection circuits for full and safe further operation of the TV by the user.
Once again, remind users! Attempts to self-repair a PHILIPS 15PF4110 TV without the appropriate qualifications and experience can lead to its complete non-repairability!

Main features of the PHILIPS 15PF4110 device:
Installed matrix (LCD panel) 15 inch.
The BL4L50P2 inverter is used to power the backlight lamps; it is controlled by the UBA2070T PWM controller (16). The transformer D4N52 is installed in the inverter converter.
The necessary supply voltages for all nodes of the PHILIPS 15PF4110 TV are generated by the BL4L50P2 power module or its analogs using TEA1533AT microcircuits (14) and power switches of the P8NM60FP P16NF type.
MainBoard - the main board (motherboard) is a module 313912360191, using CPU chips: TDA15021H1 / N1C91; Scaler: GM5221H-LF and others.
The tuner UR1316S / A provides TV reception and channel tuning.

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.
