General recommendations for repairing TV LCD
Repair PHILIPS 37PFL5322S / 60 is recommended to start with the diagnosis of the malfunction, which includes a careful inspection of the external and internal elements of the TV. Often, by the external signs and nature of some damage to the elements, it is possible to draw preliminary conclusions and determine a further algorithm for troubleshooting and localizing the malfunction before making the necessary measurements and taking oscillograms at control points. Carbonized paint on the upper layer of resistors, electrolytic capacitors of rectifier filters swollen after boiling, cracked soldering at the terminals of heating elements or transformers can often suggest the cause of the defect and possible consequences.
Power Module Repair
Sometimes the PHILIPS 37PFL5322S / 60 TV simply does not turn on. No control lights on the front panel are lit or blinking, the TV does not respond to the remote control and does not make any sounds or any signs of life when turned on. The most likely cause of the malfunction is the failure of the common PLCD300P3 24573 power supply module (3122 43 31942). First of all, it is necessary to replace the swollen capacitors of the rectifier filters, if any. If the mains fuse is broken in the power supply, in most cases a breakdown of the power switch K4075 F11NM60N P4NK60ZFP P6NK60ZFP is detected, which can be integrated with a PWM controller, or a separate field-effect transistor can be used. The rectifier bridge diodes and the electrolytic capacitor of the mains rectifier filter should also be checked.
It should be remembered that in the practice of repair, usually the power keys of N-Fet converters do not fail due to their poor quality and, in such cases, it is necessary to look for the cause that led to a malfunction and provoked a breakdown of the key. Most often, the culprits of the accident are dried electrolytic capacitors or dangling resistors in the primary circuit, or the TEA1601T (16), TEA1533AT (14), L6562D (8) PWM controller chip itself may be faulty. It is also necessary to check all the semiconductor elements of the stabilization circuit in the primary and secondary circuit.
In cases using a power module with an active KKM, troubleshooting is sometimes somewhat more complicated.
Inverter Repair
In cases where the PHILIPS 37PFL5322S / 60 TV has lost an image, and the sound is there and all other functions are operational, there is a possibility of an inverter (converter for powering the backlight) malfunction. When you turn on the TV, the image may appear briefly and immediately disappear. It must be borne in mind that with such manifestations, the lamps themselves also fail, the malfunction of which can be detected by replacement, by connecting to the connectors for diagnostics that are known to be serviceable and suitable in power.
Repairing the LC370WX4-SLB1 PANEL-T704A REV-0.8 6632l-0372D 6632L-0371D inverter is difficult because in case of any malfunction or emergency, even if the lamps are not worn out uniformly, a protection is triggered that turns it off for fire safety. Diagnostics become impossible and protection needs to be disabled.
In such cases, special care should be taken during diagnostics, and after completion of all repair work it is necessary to restore the circuit and the inverter protection for further safe operation of the TV.
Repair Main Board
When trying to repair the motherboard, you should first check the serviceability of linear stabilizers or power converters of microcircuits and, if necessary, update the software (software).
Once again, we remind TV users: you should not make attempts to repair it yourself without the appropriate knowledge, experience and the necessary qualifications! Trust repair only by a professional with sufficient experience in the repair of electronic equipment.

PSU Advanced
The 37PFL5322S / 60 TV is equipped with a PLCD300P3 power module using the PFC (Power Factor Correction) scheme acting as an active filter to eliminate the higher harmonic components of the current consumption. The step-up converter based on the L6562D PWM controller does not allow the input rectifier filter's electrolytic capacitor to be connected to the network directly through open diodes when the charge current determines its reactance (about 15-30 ohms at a frequency of 50 Hz). As a result of the conversion, the charging current of the capacitor will be determined in such a way that the envelope of the high-frequency pulses of the input current will repeat the phase and shape of the sine wave of the input voltage. The health check of the PFC unit is carried out by measuring the DC voltage on the capacitor of the rectifier network. In operating mode, it should be around 380V, in standby approximately 300V.

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.
