REPAIRING AND NOT THROWING AWAY

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

In Brief: On this site you will find pictures and technical information about Service Modes, Circuit Diagrams, Firmware Update procedure, Disassemble procedure, Universal remote control set-up codes, Troubleshooting and more....

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.

These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.

While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

Happy repairing!

Technical Specifications FLTV-16L10B
FUSION FLTV-16L10B
General repair guidelines for TV LCD LED
It is advisable to start repairing a Fusion TV with the T.VST59.62 chassis with a careful external inspection of both internal and external elements. Many visible changes in the state of the elements make it possible to determine the further direction of troubleshooting and localization of the defect. Swollen electrolytic or cermet capacitors, charred resistors, ring cracks in the soldered terminals of the elements - all this can significantly help the master to determine the causes and consequences of the malfunction of the TV.
If the power supply module malfunctions, the external manifestations may be different, for example, the Fusion FLTV-16L10B does not turn on at all and there is no indication of the indicator lights on the front panel. With the same symptoms, the stabilizer (converter) of the power supply to the control processor may be faulty. When repairing the power supply, it is advisable to start the diagnostics by checking the mains fuse and the electrolytic capacitors of the filters of the converter secondary rectifiers. In the event of a fuse breaking, the reason should be sought in the power semiconductor elements of the pulse converter of the main power supply. First of all, it is necessary to check the diodes of the bridge of the rectifier of the mains voltage and the power switch (s) of the converter.
Mos-Fet keys used in switching power supplies (SMPS) rarely fail for no reason to look for when checking other circuit elements. Often the breakdown is caused by malfunctions of electrolytic capacitors or semiconductor elements in the primary circuit, or by a break in the resistors in the stabilization circuits. The PWM controller chip can also cause a breakdown of the power switch of the converter.
If, when you turn on the TV, the image appears and immediately disappears, or is initially absent when you turn on, but the sound is there and other functions work, there is a high probability of a malfunction of the LED driver (power converter for the backlight). In such cases, the lamps, the LED driver and the common power module are subject to verification, in which the electrolytic capacitors of the rectifier filter supplying the LED driver should be checked. If, when diagnosing a malfunction, it is necessary to disable the protection of the LED driver, there is a risk of failure of the power elements of the LED driver, and special care is required during work, and after their completion, it is necessary to restore the protection circuits for the owner to continue safe operation of the TV in normal mode.
On the motherboard T.VST59.62, in the event of a malfunction, you should first check the performance of all the stabilizers or power converters of the microcircuits and, if necessary, update the software (software). If it is not possible to replace the MB board (SSB), you need to check the health of its elements - TSUMV59XU-Z1, 25Q32BSIG (GD25Q32 SOIC-8). Defective components should be replaced.
Remember! Attempts to self-repair by users of the Fusion FLTV-16L10B TV without the appropriate qualifications and necessary experience can lead to serious negative consequences!

FIRMWARE FOR SPI FLASH  ----------->   Fusion FLTV-16L10B, Main: T.VST59.62, Panel: T156LL10-AW4

If a failure occurs in the SPI FLASH software from Winbond, we recommend that you replace the chip with a new one. Often, unreadable Winbond microcircuits can temporarily restore their functionality after a strong temperature exposure, for example, heating with a soldering station or a lighter. Sometimes this is enough to read its regular contents.
Repair MainBoard
The appearance of MainBoard T.VST59.62 is shown in the figure below:
T.VST59.62
It is advisable to start repairing the T.VST59.62 motherboard based on the TSUMV59Xxx multifunction processor by checking the performance of linear voltage stabilizers or voltage converters necessary to provide power to the processor nodes - 1.2V core power, 1.8V DDR memory and Stand-by 3.3V mode . If there is no image, but the display backlight is working properly, you should check the power supply voltage of the LCD panel 5V or 12V, depending on the type of panel used.
T.VST59.62 can be used on TVs:
Akai LEA-22V21M (Panel A215ED1DA3-1), ERISSON 22LEN18 (Panel M215HGJ-L21), ERISSON 16LEN18 (Panel N156BGE-L11 Rev.C1), ERISSON 24LEN18 (Panel M236HGE-L20), Fusion FLTV-16L10B (Panel T156LL10-AW4), FUSION FLTV-24T9 (Panel M240HW01 V.B), FUSION FLTV-16T9 (Panel B156XTN02), FUSION FLTV-16T9D (Panel T156LL10-AW4), HYUNDAI H-LED19V13 (Panel CX185LEDM ), SUPRA STV-LC19811FL (Panel M185XTN01.3), SUPRA STV-LC19820WL (Panel LM185WH2), SUPRA STV-LC22820FL (Panel LS215AFTNM), SUPRA STV-LC18250WL (Panel B173HW02 V.1), SUPRA STV-LC22810FL (Panel M215HGE-L21 Rev.C1), SUPRA STV-LC16810WL (Panel B156RW01 V.1), SUPRA STV-LC18251FL (Panel N173HGE-L11 Rev.
