TO ENTER SERVICE MODE- Press 'Mute' button on the remote control.
- Press "Mute" button Again and keep it pressed while pressing the 'Menu' button on the Tv set.
- On the picture screen appear the alignment name and value.
- To "Exit" form service mode, switch OFF the TV by its main power ON / OFF switch.
BUTTON FUNCTIONS
- R-Cutoff => indication RCUT
- G-Cutoff => indication GCUT
- B-Cutoff => indication GCUT
- Basic Contrast => indication SCNT
- Basic Color Contrast => indication COLP with PAL: indication COLS with SECAM: indication COLC with NTSC.
- NTSC color adjustment => indication TNTC. [7] & [8] => Not Used.
[9]. Self check.
[AV] Test Patterns/ PAL / NTSC [red,green, blue & raster]
[-i] (yell). Convergence alignment.
[Call]. Initialization. Clear counter for service hours & overload protection.
[Info]. Switch Off pattern for Screen alignment.

Menu => Display / Exit alignment menu.
INITIALIZATION OF QA02.
NB: With this service function all
customer and service-specific software settings are cleared. If the
settings of the service function should be displayable in the case of
service, it is recommended to note down these settings in order to
recover them after replacement of the initialization of the [QA02].
The [QA02] is to be initialized after replacement.
- Activate the Service Mode.
- Press [Call] button on the remote cotntrol, hold sit down and press the [>] button on the TV set. The screen turns 'blank' and the set switches temporarily to 'standby'.
- Activate the service mode.
- Press [Call] button on the remote control, hold it down and press the 'Menu' button on the TV set. This mode carry out only the following settings, otherwise the correct function of the set is not guaranteed.
- Use the [Vol -ve] button to select "OPT 1"service function, then use the [> <] buttons to select "7EH" value.
- Use the [Vol - ve] button to select "OPT 0" service function, then use the {< >} buttons to set the "B 0H" value.
- Check and correct picture settings
