- If a customer has been viewing a 4:3 picture or another stationary pattern for a long period of time, it is possible for an after-image to be burned into the panel. It is advised not to operate the TV in 4:3 aspect ratio, for a long period of time can cause a permanent burn in. Use of 'Just' mode or 'Full' mode is recommended for viewing all plasma TVs, if the input video source is 4:3 aspect ratio. Pressing the 'Aspect' button on the remote control selects 'Just' of 'Full' mode.
- Screen Save Feature: The screen saver feature may repair after image damage.
SIDE BAR BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT
- Press 'Setup' button on the remote control.
- Use Up/Dn button to highlight the side bar adjust, the press the 'action' button.
- Use Left/Right arrow buttons to select the desired settings, Off? Dark? Bright?. The setting the side bar too bright may cause a flashing effect depending on the image being displayed. Bright side bars also may cause an after image.
- Press 'R' button to Exit this menu.

- Flashes twice >> SC | SS | C-BOARD
- Flashes thrice >> D-BOARD
- Flashes four times >> P-board,
- Flashes six times >> Fan circuit or Fan.
- Press the 'Setup' button on the remote control
- use Up/Dn arrow buttons to highlight 'Screensaver' and press the 'Center' button.
- Use Up/Dn arrow buttons to highlight the function. Use Left/Right arrow buttons to change the settings.
- Negative causes the image to invert, white areas become dark and vice versa. White bar scroll causes a white bar to appear and scroll across the screen continuously. Select White Bar scroll, then use the arrow button and then change the mode ON.
- Once the mode is 'ON' the menu will disappear and scrolling bar will appear. Let the scrolling bar screen saver to run for at least 15 minutes if you are attempting to remove an after image problem.
- To stop the screen-saver, press 'R' button on the remote control.
