These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.

While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution.In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

AXIUM ARCHITECTURE
For 'Axium' choice has been mad to use 2 trapezoidal mirrors with two main advantages.
  1. Reduction of the product depth.
  2. Possibility to setup the image geometry by acting on the <<small>> mirror with completely fixed optic.
The front panel LED allow to get a first level of diagnose regarding breakdown.  
A colored code using the indicators have been instaured  in order to detect different type of breakdowns.  When a problem is detected , the set goes automatically to standby; except in the case of incident on the optical engine, it is possible to reset the TV.

DISASSEMBLE MODULES
Removal of card door.
  • Remove the right cap.
  • Remove 2 screws.
  • Disconnect the cable from the card door and its lug.
  • Unscrew the two screws torx CBLX x 3*8
  • Remove the card.
REMOVAL OF THE MAIN BOARD CARD
  • Remove back plate.
  • Remove the right trap.
  • Remove the left trap.
  • remove the right and left corners.
  • Remove 2*2 screws CBX4*12
  • Remove back plate.
  • Remove 8 screws from the RCA and SCART base plates.
  • Remove two hexagonal spaces of DVI base plate.
  • Remove three scres
REMOVAL OF THE MAIN BOARD AND ITS SHIELDING
  • Gently unplug; without pulling the cables and lugs; situated at the back of the upper part of the card.
  • remove 8 black screws, and a steel screw
  • Remove the rear shielding | main board unit.
  • Remove then the last 5 steel screws to exchange the main board.
DISASSEMBLING POWER SUPPLY
  • Remove 4 screws
  • Pull it towards front, until able to unwire.  Start to unwire the upper cables.
  • Remove 7 screws 
  • Unplug the cable of internal sector as well as the Ground resumption lug.
