REPAIRING AND NOT THROWING AWAY

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

In Brief: On this site you will find pictures and technical information about Service Modes, Circuit Diagrams, Firmware Update procedure, Disassemble procedure, Universal remote control set-up codes, Troubleshooting and more....

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.

These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.

While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

Happy repairing!

Connect to internet. (Do not connect your Phone via USB to PC, till the installation of the'Kies' is finished.)
To synchronize Samsung Galaxy Star Pro smart phones with your PC, you have to download and install the “Kies” software from Samsung website.
If your computer’s operating system is “‘Windows-XP”; NET Framework 4 will be downloaded and installed automatically; when you try to install “kies” to your PC.  It will take some time; to update this NET Framework, from Microsoft website; so be patient to complete it.  The time taken will depend on the PC environment.  After that, Hotfix and Windows media 11 will be downloaded, and installed.  Please stay with it to finish.
If your systems' O/S is Win-7 or later, there will be no update for NET Framework-4, said above;  and the ‘Kies” starts to install directly.
You can access for 'Kies' software download from Samsung website or by these links.
The file to download has more than 71 MB; and it might take some time to finish the download.  It will be best to save the file, rather than press 'Run'.  After the download is over, press the ‘Kies’ icon at the downloaded location, to start install the software.  It is a .exe file.
After successful installation of ‘Kies”; a window will be opened before you, asking about whether you want to download and install the "Unified driver installer (USB) drivers."
Check the box, and stay connected.  This  USB driver download cannot be saved anywhere; and it will be installed automatically after download.  Follow the instructions on screen.  Then the Codec pack.exe, will install device drivers, and finish the installation.
Restart the system.
'Kies" application icons will appear at your desktop and can be started from there. Now the PC is ready to sync: with your Samsung Galaxy Star Pro. Connect your phone via USB cable now.  The system will detect your phone automatically.
There is tutorial with this installed application to lead you more about how to work with it.
