In Brief: On this site you will find pictures and technical information about Service Modes, Circuit Diagrams, Firmware Update procedure, Disassemble procedure, Universal remote control set-up codes, Troubleshooting and more....
If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

Specifications of LE37R82B
SAMSUNG LE37R82B
General repair guidelines for TV LCD
Possible malfunctions
- SAMSUNG LE37R82B TV does not turn on, does not respond to the remote control and control panel buttons, indicators do not light up and do not blink.
Failure in such cases should begin to be sought in the power supply circuits BN44-00157A. It is necessary to measure its output voltages and, if they are absent, to check the serviceability of power switches and rectifier diodes in the converters for possible breakdown.
In the event of breakdowns in the secondary circuits of the converter, it can usually fail in short circuit mode, and in the event of a short circuit in the power elements of the primary circuit, the mains fuse or current sensor at the source of the key most often breaks.
The breakdown of Mos-Fet keys used in pulsed sources is often caused by malfunctions of other elements, for example, in the power supply circuit of a PWM controller, in frequency-setting or damping circuits, as well as in Negative Stabilization Feedback. PWM microcircuits are usually checked by replacement with new ones, or obviously working.
- There is no image, there is sound, there is a reaction to the remote control. Or immediately after turning on for a second, the image may appear and immediately disappear.
A defect can be caused by problems in the nodes or elements of the backlight of the display, or in the power supply of the lamps or the inverter. After checking all the electrolytic capacitors of the filters that are involved in the power supply of the inverter, the breakdown keys and the transformer secondary windings must be ringed in its converter.
If in diagnosing a malfunction, it is necessary to disable the inverter protection, there is a risk of failure of the power elements of the inverter, and special care is required during operations, and after their completion, it is necessary to restore the protection circuits for further safe operation of the TV by the owner in normal mode.
- The TV does not turn on, the indicator signals standby or working mode, or blinks.
Repair or diagnostics of the BN41-00839E motherboard should begin by checking the stabilizers and power converters needed to power the chips and matrix. If necessary, you should update or replace the software (software). In cases of attempts to repair the MB (SSB) board, it is necessary to check the health of its elements - 7568U-LF, M308AOSGP, EM6A9320BI-4MG, NTP-3000, MAX232EC, 24C256BN, SIL9185CTU which may require replacement with new ones. If a BGA processor is installed, there is a possibility of a violation of the soldering of the contacts of its conclusions with the board (it is diagnosed by heating).
If there is no reception of television channels, but the TV is working properly from external devices, first of all, check the voltage of the tuner BN40-00116A and update the software. The pulses from the I2C bus must be controlled with an oscilloscope.
Attention TV owners! Attempts to self-repair SAMSUNG LE37R82B are not recommended by the manufacturer and can lead to serious negative consequences!
The appearance of the MainBoard BN41-00839E is shown in the figure below:
BN41-00839E
BN41-00839E can be used in TVs:
SAMSUNG LE32R81B LE32R81W (Panel LTF320AB01), SAMSUNG LE32R81BX (Panel V315B1-L01 Rev. C3), SAMSUNG LE37R82BX LE37R82B (Panel T370XW02 V6), SAMSUNG LE40R82BX (Panel LTA400WTLT. 081, LT40BTWT-L07 081, LT40BTL07
The appearance of the power supply
Main features of the SAMSUNG LE37R82B device:
Installed matrix (LCD-panel) T370XW02 V6.
The matrix control uses the Timing Controller (T-CON) T370HW02.
To power the backlight, an inverter 4H.V1838.461 is used, it is controlled by the PWM controller OZ964SN. A transformer 6024B73DB14 (GP) is installed in the inverter converter.
The necessary supply voltages for all nodes of the SAMSUNG LE37R82B TV are generated by the BN44-00157A power module or its analogs using TDA4863-2 (PFC), VIPer22A (Standby), F9222L microcircuits and N-FET TO-220F type power switches.
MainBoard - the main board (motherboard) is a BN41-00839E module, using chips 7568U-LF, M308AOSGP, EM6A9320BI-4MG, NTP-3000, MAX232EC, 24C256BN, SIL9185CTU and others.
The tuner BN40-00116A // BN40-00096A provides the reception of television programs and tuning to channels.
