REPAIRING AND NOT THROWING AWAY

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

In Brief: On this site you will find pictures and technical information about Service Modes, Circuit Diagrams, Firmware Update procedure, Disassemble procedure, Universal remote control set-up codes, Troubleshooting and more....

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.

These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.

While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

Happy repairing!
Today, the West is headed for the abyss. For the ultimate fate of our disposable society is for that society itself to be disposed of. And this will happen sooner, rather than later.

How to use the site:

- If you landed here via any Search Engine, you will get what you searched for and you can search more using the search this blog feature provided by Google. You can visit more posts scrolling the left blog archive of all posts of the month/year,
or you can click on the main photo-page to start from the main page. Doing so it starts from the most recent post to the older post simple clicking on the Older Post button on the bottom of each page after reading , post after post.

You can even visit all posts, time to time, when reaching the bottom end of each page and click on the Older Post button.

- If you arrived here at the main page via bookmark you can visit all the site scrolling the left blog archive of all posts of the month/year pointing were you want , or more simple You can even visit all blog posts, from newer to older, clicking at the end of each bottom page on the Older Post button.
So you can see all the blog/site content surfing all pages in it.

- The search this blog feature provided by Google is a real search engine. If you're pointing particular things it will search IT for you; or you can place a brand name in the search query at your choice and visit all results page by page. It's useful since the content of the site is very large.

Note that if you don't find what you searched for, try it after a period of time; the site is a never ending job !

EPSON C4X SERIES PRINTER MAINTENANCE

EPSON C4X series printer maintenance

Printer connected to the mains, press the printer's power button when the green indicator light does not shine, the printer does not work, press the key for the red ink light is not bright, it could be the printer's power supply broke down.

The first step to take off the printer's plastic cover. Off-white plastic cover with plastic buckle 7 is connected with a gray base with a screwdriver to push up one by one plastic button, you can take off the plastic cover and then remove the paper into the frame. Connected to electricity, with a multimeter to check the availability of CN2 on the 36 V voltage , shown in Figure 2, if no voltage,
disconnect the power after the CN2 in the power line, and then test 36 V power supply line (blue line and power supply boxes of metal in between) with or without 36 V voltage. If no voltage, the fault in the printer circuit board. Disconnect the power, the power supply box from the printer, remove the bottom left. Check F1 fuse is intact, if F1 blows, usually 300 V power supply fault, should first identify the trouble spots and then replace the fuse. Short-circuit fault may be the C11, Q1, C1, C15, D11 ~ D14 breakdown . If C1, C11, C15 breakdown, replaceable components and power fuse try again later. If the Q1 or D11 ~ D14 in diode breakdown, it should first find out what causes Q1 or diode damage. The reason may be the 36 V power supply or other components are damaged, replace the fuse after fault found then power tests, under normal circumstances, 300 V power supply should have, at this time and then check whether the C51 on the 36 V voltage. If no voltage output, the circuit may not oscillate, to see whether ZD4 voltage of about 10V, D2, D1, D3, C12 is damaged, C13, R11 is deterioration or open circuit, or a regulator circuit or the protection circuit fault. Temporarily to R69, R92 do not disconnect, so regulators have lost function and protection circuits, and then whether the voltage on the power test C51. If there is no short circuit within T1, C51 on there will be a voltage (due to no voltage regulator, C51 at relatively high voltage to prevent damage to components, the testing time should be as short as possible).

Next connect R92, recovery regulator circuit . If PC2, Q3I, C1 and other components intact, voltage regulator should be able to work, this time in 36 V power supply is connected to a 5W hundreds of Europe's resistance as the load , if the output voltage is relatively stable, indicating power supply has been basically normal and then connected to the R69, the protection circuit restoration, if the 36 V power supply is still no voltage output, check what part of town with fault protection circuit, short circuit R68 can try, if after the 36 V with the output short circuit, the fault in the Q82, Q83 and R83, C83 on. If the short circuit is still no voltage output after R68, the fault lies in the Pcl, Q31 and C1, the only double-check, failure is not difficult to solve. If the 36 V can be regulated, but the high voltage can be R92 on the parallel resistance (shunt resistance 47 ~ 10OkΩ) to reduce the output voltage. If the voltage is low, may be in the R93 resistor in parallel to increase voltage.

The third step is dismantling the right print head

1. Remove the print head: Remove the printer cover, the careful observation of the print head to the right, will find a clamp, with one hand before the light Hold the print head position, the other hand a small screwdriver with a flat mouth pry the clamp light, This time the print head will feel right before the store moved out a bit.

The print head and connecting cable, cartridge chip monitor cable pulled out from the socket Department will print head connection cable from the circuit board slot and slowly pull out; this time can also In the white cable below the print head on the left to see the other clamp, the same small screwdriver pry clamp light, then you can hand the print head position before and after the separate warehouse. At this time the print head has also been taken from the track down.

However, also need to rack from the word vehicle traction motor gear on the right picked, with the squares on the gear oblique mouth screwdriver between the upper and the rack, move to the right rack, you can rotate through the gears from the rack Gear check is coming!

2. Decomposition of the print head: Remove the print head in, just hold it with both hands before and after the print head position, horizontal force to the opposite direction, you can easily print head decomposition opened.
