SELF DIAGNOSIS
- The microprocessor has a self diagnostic feature that sends test information to each slave circuits, receives a test signal from each slave in response, and displays the result on the screen. If acknowledgement is not received, the location number of the non-responsive slave is displayed.
- If a slave circuit pulls the clock [SCL] or data [SDA] line to ground, the microprocessor cannot communicate with any of the slave circuits. In the event such a condition occurs, the power LED will flash at a rate of [1] per second. Similarly, in the event of a protective shut down, it will flash Twice a second. The type of condition can be easly determined by the frequency of flashes.
