DVD flash Initialization &
Update
Checking out MICOM & MPEG flash Version
1. Select the Setup-Support-Product information to check the Program version on the screen and front VFD display.
DVD flash Initialization & Update (firmware)
1. Prepare USB that contains SSP file(Micom) and ROM file(MPEG) for Update.
2. Select the folder which has update file, then “Updating” will appear on the screen.
After completing the update, the power will go out and on, then tray will open automatically.
3. Make the unit “NO DISC” state if there is a disc and then close the tray.
4. Press “STOP” button of Main Unit 5 seconds more, display indicator shows “INITIALIZE” then power go out.
5. Initialization complete

Buyer-Region Code Setting Method
The inserting method of Region
Code after replacing the Main PBA
When replacing the Main PBA and System Micom
should be inserted the region code.
- The set is not working properly if you don't insert the region code.
- The region code is inserted by the remote control.
- The set is not working properly if you don't insert the region code.
- The region code is inserted by the remote control.
1. Press the “AUX” button on the remote
control.
2. Press the "TUNER MEMORY" button on the remote control during 4-5 seconds.
2. Press the "TUNER MEMORY" button on the remote control during 4-5 seconds.
3. After step (2), you can see “TEST” on the
VFD.
4. When you see “TEST” on VFD, Insert number “4”, “6” to start Region Code setting mode.
4. When you see “TEST” on VFD, Insert number “4”, “6” to start Region Code setting mode.
5. After step (4), you can see “− −” on the
VFD. Insert the Region Code (Below table) corresponding model with “0 - 9” buttons
on the remote control.
6. After step (5), you can see “15 USA” on the
VFD. It means that currently System Micom program is installed by USA specification.
7. Turn the Power off.
In case of System Micom and EEPROM problem,
you can apply to this. For example, during Updating program of System Micom, if
Updating fail is happened, it is impossible to turn on the system from stand-by
status. The system will keep the stand-by status continuously, and the touch-key
function will never work. In this case, you have to change System Micom, and
set up the Buyer Region code again. In case of EEPROM, you don't need to care
about it. After set-up the Region code, System Micom will store the information
of the region code to EEPROM automatically.
