REPAIRING AND NOT THROWING AWAY

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

Richtige Fernseher haben Röhren!

In Brief: On this site you will find pictures and technical information about Service Modes, Circuit Diagrams, Firmware Update procedure, Disassemble procedure, Universal remote control set-up codes, Troubleshooting and more....

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.

These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.

While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

Happy repairing!

JBL BP1200.1 1 WIRING DIAGRAM - CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER

WIRING DIAGRAM - JBL BP1200.1 1 CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER

WIRING
Note the Ground point of Wiring.  A Single Point Ground is a must.  Even though the chassis of  the vehicle as a whole is (-ve), never connect the ground wire to other than specified point here.  All the 4 ground wires should be connected to this point, as shown in figure; otherwise, Audio Distortion will occur, especially to higher volume levels.

1. It allows left and right input channels to be connected to the amplifier using RCA plugs.
2. Speaker Output Connector - Connect speaker wiring to these connectors.
3. Fuse - 40Ax3 Amp ATC type Fuses.
4. Power Connection for 12V+, GND and REM connections for power wires.
5. Input-Level Control - Adjusts input sensitivity for pre-amp level and speaker level inputs.
6. The electronic crossover is a 12dB/oct. Low pass filter which can be set at any frequency between 32Hz and 320Hz.
7. The bass boost control will provide up to 6dB of boost at 50Hz.
8. It allows left and right input channels such as high level speaker output signals to be the amplifier.
9. The JBL BP Series amplifiers can be mounted in virtually any location inside the vehicle.  However, make sure to keep the amplifier away from heater vents or ducts.
* At the chosen site, use the amplifier as a mounting template and mark the locations of the four mounting holes.
* Drill a small pilot hole at each marked location.
* Mount the amplifier and securely tighten the mounting screws.
Never allow any metal part of the amp's case, to come in contact with the metal body of the vehicle; to avoid an alternate 'Ground' connection other than specified by the wiring diagram.  Use non conductive material to attach the Amp with vehicle.  Do the same with all other attached devices with amplifier.
