General repair guidelines for TV LCD LED
TV PHILIPS 37PFL7605H / 60, like many other electronic devices, it is advisable to start repairing by inspecting all external and internal elements. Many visible changes in the state of the elements make it possible to determine the further direction of troubleshooting and localization of the defect. Swollen electrolytic or cermet capacitors, charred resistors, ring cracks in the soldered terminals of the elements - all this can significantly help the master to determine the causes and consequences of the malfunction of the TV.
In the absence of any signs of operability, when the PHILIPS 37PFL7605H does not turn on and does not signal anything with the control lights on the panel, there is a possibility of a malfunction of the MJD340 (3) power supply module of the TV. With the same manifestations, the power regulator of the control processor on the motherboard may be faulty. In the absence of swollen filter capacitors of the secondary rectifiers, the diagnostics of the power supply should be started by checking the fuse and, if it breaks, you must first check all the power semiconductor elements of the primary circuit - diodes and transistors VA51 FSQ510 (7), HS01G (8), FAN7621B ( 16), the probability of an avalanche or thermal breakdown.
It should be borne in mind that in the practice of repair it is extremely rare that key transistors in switching power supplies (SMPS) fail for no reason that should be sought by checking other components, for example, a breakdown of the key can provoke faulty elements of the damper circuits, or dried electrolytic capacitors or dangling primary resistors BP circuits involved in the stabilization process. In this case, all semiconductor elements of the strapping of the PWM regulator chip PLDD-P973A are subject to verification, which it is desirable to verify by replacement.
If there is no image when you turn on the PHILIPS 37PFL7605H, or it appears for a second and disappears, but there is sound, most likely there is a malfunction in the backlight LED circuit of the LC370EUH (SC) (A2) panel, or in their power converter. It is necessary to check the electrolytic capacitors of the filter of the secondary rectifiers in the general power supply unit.
A malfunction in the backlight circuits often occurs due to an open in the power circuit of the LED lines. It is necessary to disassemble the panel and check the LEDs themselves, the soldering of their conclusions, as well as the reliability of the connections in the connectors and the soldering of the conclusions of the connectors.
It should be remembered that it is not possible to determine the open circuit in the LED lines without disassembling the panels with a tester or multimeter without an additional device, for example, a current source. To open all PN junctions connected in series at once, a voltage of several tens of volts may be required.
Owners and users of the PHILIPS 37PFL7605H TV must remember that self-repair without special knowledge, skills and qualifications can be fraught with negative consequences that can lead to complete non-repairability of the device!

PSU Advanced
According to the conditions of compliance with modern world standards for household switching power supplies, the PLDD-P973A module provides for the use of a Power Factor Correction unit. The PFC circuit is a flyback converter based on the HS01G PWM controller. The reactance of an electrolytic capacitor of a line filter at a frequency of 50-60 Hz is usually not more than 20-30 ohms and its charge directly from the network through open diodes could reach tens of amperes per pulse if no filtering was applied.
As a result of the PFC conversion, an increased voltage on the capacitor (about 380V) cannot directly open the rectifier diodes, on the anode of which the voltage will always be slightly less (about 300V) and then its charging current will always be limited by the elements of the PWM controller. As a result, the envelope of the high-frequency pulses of the consumed current will repeat the shape and phase of the input sinusoidal voltage. The presence of an increased voltage (+ 380V) on the network capacitor indicates the serviceability of the PFC node.

Main features of the PHILIPS 37PFL7605H device:
Installed matrix (LED-panel) LC370EUH (SC) (A2).
The matrix control uses the Timing Controller (T-CON) 20U65CT.
To power the backlight LEDs, the PLDD-P973A LED driver is used (PSL37, controlled by a PWM controller). An RC2683203 / 01 3139 238 19861 transformer is installed in the LED driver converter. Keys of the CAT4026V type (28) are used as power elements of the LED driver.
The necessary supply voltages for all nodes of the PHILIPS 37PFL7605H TV are generated by the PLDD-P973A power supply module or its analogs using power switches such as VA51 FSQ510 (7), HS01G (8), FAN7621B (16), MJD340 (3).
MainBoard - the main board (motherboard) is a module 3104_313_63643.

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.
