If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.

SAMSUNG UE32EH5007K
General repair guidelines for TV LCD LED
In the absence of any signs of operability, when the SAMSUNG UE32EH5007K does not turn on and does not signal anything with the control lights on the panel, there is a possibility of a malfunction of the power supply module BN44-00493B (PD32AVF_CHS Rev1.3) of the TV. After checking the mains fuse and power elements of the primary power supply circuit, you should also check for the presence of a short circuit in the loads of the secondary rectifiers.
It should be remembered that in the practice of repair, usually the power switches in switching power supplies (SMPS) do not fail due to their poor quality and, in such cases, it is necessary to look for the cause that led to a malfunction and provoked a breakdown of the key. Most often, the culprits of the accident are dried electrolytic capacitors or dangling resistors in the primary circuit, or the SSC2S110 PWM controller chip may be malfunctioning. It is also necessary to check all the semiconductor elements of the stabilization circuit in the primary and secondary circuit.
If the SAMSUNG UE32EH5007K does not have an image, but there is sound and the TV is controlled by the remote control, a malfunction in the backlight circuits of the LTJ320HN07-L panel is likely. LEDs or their power converter - LED driver may be faulty. Often in such cases, when you turn on the TV, an image appears and immediately disappears. First of all, it is necessary to verify the operability of the electrolytic capacitors of the rectifier filter supplying the backlight unit.
To check the health of the LEDs and contact connections in their power circuit, the panel must be disassembled.
When diagnosing, it is necessary to take into account that it is impossible to check the open in the chain of LED lines without disassembling the panels using a tester or multimeter. To open all PN junctions connected in series, a voltage of the order of several tens of volts is required, and ideally, a current source. By opening the panel, each LED can be checked separately. Usually, Chinese multimeters light up a single 3-volt LED, if you connect probes in the forward direction to it. In dual 6-volt LEDs, the PN junction of its emergency zener diode can serve as a health indicator. In the event of a LED malfunction, its zener diode will either be cut off or broken into short-circuit.
On the motherboard BN41-01795A BN94-05951J, in case of a malfunction, you should first check the operation of all the stabilizers and power converters of the microcircuits, and also, if necessary, update the software (software).
Sophisticated MB board repair (SSB) is in some cases possible and practiced by repairmen. To do this, check and, if necessary, replace DRAM elements: K4B1G1646G-BCH9; SOUND: NTP-7412S; . BGA chip malfunctions are usually easy to detect by warming up.
If the TV works normally from external devices, but does not tune into television channels, the tuner DT0D40FVL084AA BN40-00231A may be malfunctioning. In such cases, first of all, you should make sure that there are supply voltages at its corresponding terminals. It is also necessary to make sure that the tuner and processor can exchange data via the I2C bus. Sometimes the cause of the inoperability of the tuner may be a software failure.
It should be remembered! Attempts to repair the SAMSUNG UE32EH5007K TV, in the absence of the necessary qualifications and experience, are categorically not recommended and are fraught with negative consequences, up to the complete non-serviceability of the device!

The appearance of the power supply
Main features of the SAMSUNG UE32EH5007K device:
Installed matrix (LED panel) LTJ320HN07-L.
The matrix control uses the Timing Controller (T-CON) LSJ320HN03-S.
To power the backlight LEDs, a converter is used, combined with the power supply, controlled by the PLC controller SLC1012C (FAN7340). As power elements of the LED driver, keys of the MDD3752 type are used.
The necessary supply voltages for all nodes of the SAMSUNG UE32EH5007K TV are generated by the BN44-00493B power module or its analogs using SSC2S110 microcircuits and power switches of the MDF11N65B type.
MainBoard - the main board (motherboard) is a BN41-01795A module, using DRAM chips: K4B1G1646G-BCH9; SOUND: NTP-7412S; and others.
Tuner DT0D40FVL084AA BN40-00231A provides the reception of television programs and tuning to channels.
