General repair guidelines for TV LCD LED
Sometimes the SAMSUNG UE40ES7507 TV just does not turn on. The control lights on the front panel do not burn or blink, the TV does not respond to the remote control and does not show signs of life when turned on. The most likely cause of the malfunction is the failure of the BN44-00522B common power module. If it is working properly, you must check the standby batteries on the Main Board.
In the absence of swollen filter capacitors of the secondary rectifiers, the diagnostics of the power supply should be started by checking the fuse and, if it is broken, it is first necessary to check all the power semiconductor elements of the primary circuit - diodes and transistors for the possibility of an avalanche or thermal breakdown.
As a rule, the keys in switching power supplies (SMPS) are reliable enough and rarely fail for no reason to be looked for by checking other components of the circuit - electrolytic capacitors, resistors and semiconductor elements of the primary circuit. Chips PWM controllers of the main converter UCC25600, PFC: SPC7011F (FA5695N) and Standby: STR2A151D (SQD2011K) are checked by replacing them with known good ones.
If, when you turn on the TV, the image appears and immediately disappears, or is initially absent when turned on, but the sound has other functions that work, there is a high probability of a malfunction of the LED driver (power converter for the backlight LEDs of the LTJ400HL14-L panel.
A malfunction in the backlight circuits often occurs due to an open or short in the power circuit of the 40SNB 3D-7032LED lines. It requires disassembling the panel and checking the LEDs themselves, the soldering of their outputs, as well as the reliability of the connections in the connectors and the soldering of the conclusions of the connectors.
When trying to detect a break in the LEDs, it should be borne in mind that it is difficult to do this without disassembling the panel. A current source is needed to open PN junctions connected in series.
Repair or diagnostics of the BN41-01800 B motherboard should begin by checking the stabilizers and power converters needed to power the chips and matrix. If necessary, update the software (software).
If the TV works normally from external devices, but does not tune into television channels, the tuner DNT243VH144AA BN40-002388 may be malfunctioning. In such cases, first of all, you should make sure that there are supply voltages at its corresponding terminals. Sometimes the cause of the inoperability of the tuner may be a software failure.
It should be remembered! Attempts to repair the SAMSUNG UE40ES7507 TV, in the absence of the necessary qualifications and experience, are categorically not recommended and are fraught with negative consequences, up to the complete non-repairability of the device!

BN41-01800B can be used in TVs:
SAMSUNG UE40ES8007U UE40ES8007 (Panel LTJ400HL14-L), SAMSUNG UE40ES7507 UE40ES7507U (Panel LTJ400HL14-L), SAMSUNG UE65ES8005 (Panel CY-LE650DSA V1C).
PSU Advanced
In the UE40ES7507 TV, the BN44-00522B power module is installed using the PFC (Power Factor Correction) scheme acting as an active filter to eliminate the higher harmonic components of the current consumption. The boost converter based on the PWM controller SPC7011F = FA5695N does not allow the input rectifier filter's electrolytic capacitor to be connected to the network directly through open diodes when its reactance determines the charge current (about 15-30 ohms at a frequency of 50 Hz). As a result of the conversion, the charging current of the capacitor will be determined in such a way that the envelope of the high-frequency pulses of the input current will repeat the phase and shape of the sine wave of the input voltage. The health check of the PFC unit is carried out by measuring the DC voltage on the capacitor of the rectifier network. In operating mode, it should be around 380V, in standby approximately 300V.
The appearance of the power supply
Main features of the SAMSUNG UE40ES7507 device:
Installed matrix (LED-panel) LTJ400HL14-L or LTJ400HL08-L.
The matrix control uses the Timing Controller (T-CON) BN41-01790C.
To power the backlight LEDs, a converter is used, combined with a power supply unit, controlled by the SLC5012M PWM controller (MAP3312B). As the power elements of the LED driver, keys of the type KF9N25D (250V 7.5A) are used.
The necessary supply voltages for all nodes of the SAMSUNG UE40ES7507 TV are generated by the BN44-00522B power supply module or its analogs using UCC25600, SPC7011F (PFC = FA5695N), STR2A153D (Standby = SQD2011K) microcircuits and TK8A50D power switches.
MainBoard - the main board (motherboard) is a BN41-01800B module, using microchips SDP1101, KLM2G1HE3F, RTL8201F; TAS5735; Si9587CNUC and others.
The tuner BN40-00238A provides the reception of television programs and tuning to channels.

If you go into the profession, you will obtain or have access to a variety of tech tips databases HERE IT IS Master Electronics Repair !.
These are an excellent investment where the saying: 'time-is-money' rules. However, to learn, you need to develop a general troubleshooting approach - a logical, methodical, method of narrowing down the problem. A tech tip database might suggest: 'Replace C536' for a particular symptom. This is good advice for a specific problem on one model. However, what you really want to understand is why C536 was the cause and how to pinpoint the culprit in general even if you don't have a service manual or schematic and your tech tip database doesn't have an entry for your sick TV or VCR.
While schematics are nice, you won't always have them or be able to justify the purchase for a one-of repair. Therefore, in many cases, some reverse engineering will be necessary. The time will be well spent since even if you don't see another instance of the same model in your entire lifetime, you will have learned something in the process that can be applied to other equipment problems.
As always, when you get stuck, checking out a tech-tips database may quickly identify your problem and solution. In that case, you can greatly simplify your troubleshooting or at least confirm a diagnosis before ordering parts.
